Golpayegan

Golpayegan is a town in west-central Iran, 90 miles (145 km) northwest of Isfahan, with a population a of about 50,000 (2010).
The town is famous for its beautiful Persian rugs and dairy products. People travel to Golpayegan to taste their delicious kabob. Wood carving is also popular in Golpayegan.

    این شبه دانشگاه درسال 1374 با پذیرش دانشجو با اسم دانشگاه اصفهان-واحد گلپایگان و یا مجتمع آموزش عالی گلپایگان شروع بکار کرد. این رول 3 سال دیگر هم ادامه داشت که با مقاومت گروه کامپیوتر دانشگاه اصفهان از این بی قانونی در سال 1378 با پذیرش دانشجو در رشته ریاضی به کار خود ادامه داد و در سال بعد کلیه این دانشجویان به دانشگاه اصفهان منتقل شده و این مرکز این بار زیر پوشش نام دانشگاه صنعتی شریف و با نام دانشگاه صنعتی گلپایگان به پذیرش دانشجو مبادرت کرد که این روال تا کنون ادامه دارد.این هم یک نمونه از بی برنامه گی و بی قانونی و فساد در نظام حکومتی و اداری
